Online requests for appointments are subject to confirmation by our clinic staff. To ensure high-quality, one-on-one care for all patients, we request at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
4. Direct Access in New York State
Under New York State Direct Access legislation, licensed physical therapists may evaluate and treat patients without a physician referral for up to 30 days or 10 visits. If treatment is needed beyond this period, a prescription from a licensed physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner will be required.
